    Nightingale with George Marshall calling

Jeremiah McLane (accordion, piano), Keith Murphy (guitar, mandolin, piano, foot percussion), and Becky Tracy (fiddle) draw their inspiration from a wide musical territory that includes Ireland, France, Scandinavia, Newfoundland, Quebec, and New England. Playing together as the contra dance band Nightingale, they're as musically sophisticated as the rara avis for which they're named, so dancers can expect everything from dreamy to driving, and all points in between. If you've danced to them before, you don't need to be told; if not, you're in for a treat! The gracious George Marshall will teach and lead the dances.
